Great day today in Johnnie’s Mixed Media class! You’ll love her home studio (10-15 minute cab ride from El Centro) filled with her art. I arrived with no prior experience and left with treasures! Thanks Johnnie

My first alcohol ink experience with Johnnie Boswell, amazing teacher. This is a burn-out of three separate pieces, atop a fourth. In layers so none touch. I’m blown away! Thank you Johnnie for your guidance with a sense of humor!
Johnnie's work is exquisite! I love her paper creations, beautifully framed in white.

· We love to highlight our feature artists and Johnnie Boswell is no exception / a founding member of the SMA Women's Collective, her 3D art work is the coolest process I've experienced / check out her work and class schedule on our Feature Artist page (website) and read about what inspires her to create these amazing pieces.
Reach out to Johnnie directly for her 2023 class schedule and learn a new medium, its on my list of classes to take and perhaps you'd like to join me in supporting her / contact her directly for pieces available.
Johnnie´s work is incredible.... she does many other types of art not only this and everything I have seen that she does is stunning! You would definitely be in the hands of a wonderful teacher!
